Information manager

Information manager

Support the delivery and management of critical information in the delivery phase of an infrastructure project

Working on critical engineering and construction projects, you’ll oversee information management, which involves taking charge of documentation, data and models that are produced to describe a built asset, such as plans, digital twins and other assets. You’ll work across a project, interacting with everyone, from the client to engineers, and maintain its information and data as it reaches completion. This role is crucial, because it facilitates collaboration between project team members, promotes the development of an informed design, and helps avoid duplication and mistakes. Your apprenticeship will train you in the art of procedural gatekeeping, as you ensure project-wide compliance with industry information strategies and standards, as well as developing a common data environment that ensures data is accurate, current and secure.
