Financial services professional

“A financial services professional works with companies or individuals to plan for their financial futures”

The financial services industry encompasses a broad range of businesses that manage, or consult around managing, money, including retail and corporate banking, investment management, investment consulting, investment banking, mortgages, and life and pensions. The financial services professional apprenticeship will teach you everything you’ll need to know to become a highly competent professional for the industry. Core modules will give you the knowledge, skills and experience required of all individuals entering or progressing to this level in financial services, while a set of specialist options will then prepare you for the specific business area. These include retail banking, corporate banking, investment banking, investment management, operations, and workplace pensions. Whichever you choose, as a financial services professional you’ll be able to apply for the appropriate level of professional membership upon completion.
