Skills for Logistics is the Sector Skills Council working with companies involved in moving, handling, storing or the wholesale of goods. Its mission is to improve the efficiency, effectiveness and competitive edge of UK logistics in the global marketplace by sharpening workforce capability through skills development validated by qualifications.

Targeted Training Projects (TTP)
Targeted Training Projects (TTP) in partnership with JHP Training were announced in Autumn 2009 by the National Apprenticeship Service as one of 12 successful national tenders to establish a Group Training Associations (GTA) / Apprentice Training Agencies (ATA's). TTP specialise in Logistics related apprenticeships, linking real employers with apprentices who have the tailored skills matched to meet the companies needs.
