Community safety apprenticeship

The Community Safety apprenticeship is designed to train people to advise communities on safety issues.

The main focus is on minimising the risk of fire within communities, but you will also learn about road safety and may be required to provide interventions with drivers and pedestrians. You will help to gather information and data which will inform community safety strategies.

As a community safety advisor, your core responsibility will be to work with communities to help to reduce safety risks. You will perform home safety checks, deliver group presentations and work with partner agencies to ensure that resources are targeted where they will make the greatest impact.

The role will involve travel within the community including to community centres, homes, schools and places of work.

Intermediate (Level 2)

£15,000 plus
